Button A Press this for regular shots. Press and hold the button for dashing, this makes you fly around faster. Also press and hold it to charge up the Fire Dragon special move (see under Special moves). Button B Similarly to Cotton 2, use this to grab and throw objects, enclosed enemies, or the other player. However, you can also use it to attack enemies by punching them in case they get too close. If you kill an enemy by punching it, it will be enclosed in an energy bubble. You can also punch out most of the enemy projectiles, making this a weapon of defense and attack as well. Button C Use this button to Change between your characters. Changing will cause a huge explosion, destroying most of the on-screen enemies and countering all enemy projectiles. There's only a limited number of changes available. But you can grab additional ones during the game. If you have no more characters left, you will only get the explosion effect. Buttons X, Y, Z, L, R Once unlocked in the options menu, you can assign different combinations to these buttons - Rapid shot and instant combination commands.
